Banana Bread

This is Esther Marginelli’s recipe.
 
 

Ingredients

Wet mix

1 cup bananas

½ cup oil

½ cup buttermilk

2 eggs

Dry mix

2 cups flour

2 cup sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup walnuts or pecans

½ tsp vanilla

Butter

Directions

Mix together wet ingredients. Mix in dry ingredients. Add nuts and vanilla.

Bake 350 degrees for one hour or more.

Rub butter on hot bread. Put on rack to cool.
