Grandma Marie's Rice

It’s great as a side with barbecue meats, chicken or roasts.
 
 

Ingredients

¾ cup regular rice (if you use brown rice, cook longer and add a splash of water)

1 can beef consomme

1 chopped onion

¼ lb butter or margarine

Directions

Saute onion in butter. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together. Bake in casserole at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
