Lynn's Hummus

Ingredients

1 can chick peas (garbanzos) and liquid

Juice of 2 lemons

⅔ cup tahini paste

2-3 cloves garlic

4 Tbsp olive oil

cayenne pepper

parsley to decorate

Directions

In blender, put garbanzo beans and their liquid, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil.

Switch on and blend. With blade turning, add tahini paste until texture is smooth, like mayo. Add more liquid if needed.

Season with salt and cayenne.

Garnish with parsley and sprinkle with cayenne.

Serve with pita, French bread or crackers.
