Turkey Stuffing
“I found this neatly typed on a yellowed card in grandma’s recipe box. The only thing handwritten was the source of the recipe — ‘Helen T.’ I would guess from the sense of whimsy that this comes from Helen Tucker, who was full of life and also a great cook. ”
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 green pepper, cut up
1 cup celery, cut up
3½ cups popcorn, washed
3 cups uncooked rice, washed
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
garlic salt and parsley, to taste
Directions
Mix well, stuff turkey loosely. Put in oven at 350 degrees. Bake until popcorn pops and blows the ass off the turkey.
